You don’t often see actual fake items on eBay. What you often get are inaccurate descriptions and things like that, however. I do not know all the box variations in this early era. It’s possible that as these are the EA distributed versions, the boxes don’t have the flap covers. I think that is the likliest explanation. A second possibility is that the boxes were “re-sealed”. You can always ask the seller for more detailed photos and check out the seller’s feedback comments / rating.
