(re: Kings Quest VII:Not Working) You MUST have version 2 of the game to play the Windows version on XP. Earlier versions will crash on launch with a DLL error. Version 2 can be found on the 2nd collection and the Roberta Williams Anthology. I believe that there was a stand alone release of version 2, but I am not sure.
It is too bad that the versions that will not run on XP are also did not include the DOS version.
