It turned out QG5 Mac wouldn’t install beyond the first bunch of files. The PC version (on the same discs) installs and runs without any problems. I can only imagine that the game has some kind of problem with MacOS 8.1. Not being experienced with Macs, I have no idea where to begin troubleshooting this.
I’ve downloaded some games from Mac abandonware sites, and am planning on running them this coming weekend. I’d appreciate if you could tell me how to format the CD or 3.5″ disk for transferring files from PC to Mac. I already tried one CD this past weekend, but the Mac wouldn’t read it at all.
