(Re: Am I just a wimp?) I played the original Phantasmagoria years after it first came out. A couple of years ago, I got a beat-up copy from eBay for Halloween one year. I thought it was a good game too, I was just really impressed and inspired by some of the 3D graphics in it (when it was first promoted, and since then I’d wanted to play it). I wasn’t scared… but it just sickened me actually, I’m not so good with gore and violence, so that I stopped playing close to the end of the game when the deaths of the wives were becoming more intense and one right after the other.
I did skip to the last chapter though to try the chase sequence.
And I’m still looking for a sealed copy for my collection.
