I have also had problems in the past where
I browsed to another page in a new browser window while typing a message in the original window, and when i posted the message it appended to the thread i’d browsed to in the second window, rather than to the thread i’d been posting to originally.
I posted a bug report about that a few months ago (before you redesigned the pages) — so it’s not a new bug.
