Nice one.

I've played the Tierra games, and loved them.  Very well done.  Especially Kings Quest 2+, which they added a whole horde of new story and puzzle elements, too, making it a more coherent and engaging experience than the original, even!  I suppose they had all of Sierra's history to call upon to improve what was actually a fairly hotch potch game when released back in the early 80's!  Brilliantly recaptured all the important stuff, which adding lots of fresh new content, and rich art, sound and story.

King's Quest 3 is probably my favorite game, so I'm really excited to download the remake and check it out!  Thanks for the link!

I'm a game designer at a mobile games developer in Melbourne, and I most certainly owe my initial inspiration to Sierra, who had me drawing maps of their lands when I was a kid, and really immersive my mind in these worlds of possibilities and mystery!

It's great to have these groups out there remaking the old classics from Sierra, just to get an opportunity to delve back into those worlds and savour those old childhood delights.  :)

I thought you guys might appreciate this, im sure most of you all know about these things im about to talk about. But hey for everyone else who doesnt know. They will love this.

There are alot of great Sierra FAN MADE games. 90% are not very good, but a few are absolute gems!!!

the first is a fan company calling themselves TIERRA.
They have remade Kings Quest 1 and 2 into beautiful VGA graphics with full Talking stereo sound. Man these guys must have worked like crazy. These games are worth going Commercial. And Quite frankly almost deserve a spot next to the sierra classics. WELL DONE TIERRA
you can find and download their games here. http://www.agdinteractive.com/
Tierra is also Remaking a VGA version of QUEST FOR GLORY 2. Not complete yet. But is will be awesome when it finally is finished, and should be for free download. As the rest of their games are.

Next up is a FAN company called Infamous Adventures. They have made a VGA remake with full talking and audio of KINGS QUEST 3..... brilliant work guys BRILLIANT. They are also currently making a remake of SPACE QUEST 2. I cant wait for it!!!! you can find them here

Next is the fan remakes of Space Quest that are actually finished. search GooGle for
Space Quest 0 : Replicated. excellent typing interface game. (The story before the Story)
and a very well known one is Space Quest the Lost chapter. made by Vonster D Monster
it takes place between Space Quest 2 and 3. very good game.
Finally on the Space Quest front we are all dying to get SPACE QUEST 7 made by the fans, and even being helped by Josh Mandel (Lead designer on SPACE QUEST 6) This is a huge production that will blow the way fan games are made FOREVER!!! you can find them at http://sq7.org/ yes the web site has not been updated for almost a year. But the game is still being made, IT HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED. I got this info from the Main Man working on Space Quest 7..... Colin Davis. This is the game to really keep waiting for.

Next is QUEST FOR GLORY 6.... is being made by the fans... but is called HERO 6.
I dont know very much about the project. but it will be great. FIND OUT MORE AT : http://www.hero6.com/

OH there is another Space Quest in Development by fans its called SPACE QUEST : Vohaul Strikes Back.... Dont know nothing about this project... find it at : http://forum.vohaulstrikesback.com/

Well i think thats about it for now. I LOVE SIERRA, and i will support the FANS GAMES. Because it gives me a reason to still hold onto my love for adventures of YESTERYEAR!!!!

Guys if you want any of the fan games quicker, Thats not gonna happen. But you can speed up the process by inquiring to the guys creating these games, if you or your buddies could help out with design and creation of these games... The more people, the quicker they will get done. Plus you have the satisfaction of keeping out favourite Sierra games Alive....

Thanks for your time, i hope i have helped some people.
