Sierra Blog Added
New Admin, C_Guy (or Scott in real world speak) will be helping us out by tracking the ongoing news in the world of Sierra right here. He was working his way toward starting a Sierra Blog external to Sierra Gamers but we pulled him in with the promises of candy, puppies and never, ever mentioning Apple computers to him.
Sierra Gamers Facebook Group Started
For members who are active on Facebook, joining the Sierra Gamers facebook group will allow you to keep up with the Sierra Blog and significant updates at Sierra Gamers. You can join by following the link on the Home page.
The Games section framework is being built. At present you can get a preview of the structure that will be in use to access the individual game pages as we add the Series access pages, menu options and links to the overall Game Selection page. Over the next few months a game specific page for every Sierra release will be added to this area which will include box cover scans, manuals, articles, advertisements and hopefully insight from the former Sierra employees who worked to create the games we all love.
Site Navigation Tip: Remember, no matter how far you dig down into the Sierra Gamers website getting back to the homepage is a quick and easy process of clicking the Sierra Logo in the upper left hand corner. Rainbow logo (in "The Games") back to Series Selection page, Light Blue logo (in "The Museum") back to the Museum main page the Green and Blue logo back to the Home Page. Ken and Roberta do nothing. They are retired.

The final BBS build is complete. All of the messages from Sierra Gamers history have been compiled into one Forum area. A lot of the original author's names have been lost but the messages should all be there and many/most of the links to uploaded content should be working. No more multiple forums.

I have pulled the "museum" forums which were in the Sierra History forum area into the main BBS area (Laura Bow Museum topics are now under the Laura Bow series forum, etc). This should make finding postings easier by topic and better consolidate the forums. In addition the SierraGamers specific forum has been combined with the Sierra History forum. We now have two forum areas - one for games specific discussion, one for everything else. Also remember to use the search function available in the BBS area - it really works well.
Site Navigation Tip:
In the forum areas you can toggle the number of threads displayed by clicking the "Page Size" drop down button at the bottom of the page. Increasing the number of threads shown from 7 to either 10, 20 or 50 will allow you to see many more of the previous discussions at once.
Also
To change your forum display from your email address, enter your User Options section by clicking on your email address in the bottom header. The default display puts your email address in as your last name but you can change those to what you would like (keep it clean, please). You can also upload a picture that will display under your name in your forum postings.
